品牌的誕生
創辦⼈路易·勃蘭特（Louis Brandt）在1848年於瑞⼠拉紹德封（La Chaux-de-Fonds）⼩村莊開設首間⼯作室，並於1894年，研發出「19令」的自製機芯，撼動當時瑞⼠傳統鐘錶業，由於這枚機芯的表現太過出⾊，陸續在天文台競賽中獲得許多獎項，因此這也成為品牌名稱OMEGA的起因，並以希臘字⺟ Ω 作為標誌，為體現時間不可逆的真理及象徵完美與成就的意義。

逾半世紀以來，「OMEGA超霸系列」⼀直是太空⼈及太空機構的當然之選。事實上，超霸錶更參與了不少人類偉⼤的外太空探險，⽽⾃1969年7⽉成為⾸款登上⽉球的腕錶後，亦成為享譽全球的計時碼錶之一。

OMEGA在鐘錶的擒縱結構上擁有重⼤的創新，它是英國製錶師喬治‧丹尼爾（Dr.George Daniels）數⼗年來所研發的成果，他於1999年誕⽣了第⼀款同軸擒縱裝置的OMEGA腕錶，並裝配在全新的碟⾶系列（De Ville）上，爾後OMEGA便將同軸擒縱應⽤在⼤部分所有的品牌系列中。
在經過數十年歲月多次的升級和改良，如今OMEGA已經將當年的同軸擒縱機芯打造為如8900/8901這類同軸至臻天⽂臺機芯，其中不僅保證了機芯的穩定性，也提升防磁的效果。除此之外，OMEGA更擁有通過兩次官⽅認證的「⼤師天⽂臺腕錶」。官⽅認證的機芯必須先經由瑞士官方天文台（COSC）認證，通過後再接受8項瑞⼠聯邦計量科學研究所（METAS）的嚴格測試，最後⽅能成為⼤師天文台腕錶。系列精選
